Dosage and administration
Jenasteron is for intramuscular use only.

Administration: Inject Jenasteron deeply into the gluteal muscle following standard intramuscular injection precautions; take care to avoid intravascular injection. Intravascular injection of Jenasteron can cause pulmonary oil microembolism.

Recommended dosing: 3 mL (750 mg) intramuscular injection, followed by another 3 mL (750 mg) injection after 4 weeks, then 3 mL (750 mg) every 10 weeks thereafter.
