Biorevitalization is a procedure for the intradermal injection of hyaluronic acid.
Hyaluronic acid (or rather, the products that are formed by its metabolism in the human body) is able to trigger the process of regeneration of skin cells. For biorevitalization uses hyaluronic acid, which is retained in the skin for quite a long time. It is very different from both hyaluronic acid in mesotherapy cocktails and hyaluronic acid in creams.
Why hyaluronic acid?
Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a natural constituent of our skin, responsible for its elasticity, because HA fills the space between the long chains of collagen and elastin molecules (the main structural proteins of the skin, on which the smoothness and elasticity of the skin depends) and keeps the collagen fibers in the correct position. If hyaluronic acid is present in sufficient quantities, the skin remains smooth and firm, if its amount is reduced, wrinkles appear, the skin becomes dull, the contours and outline of the face deteriorate.
Who is Biorevitalization indicated for and at what age should I start doing it?
This procedure is indicated for all people with reduced skin turgor. Turgor loss can be caused by natural aging, photo aging (for tanning enthusiasts), rapid weight loss, stress, sedentary lifestyle, lack of sunlight and fresh air, insufficient number of hours of sleep. In general, practically to all inhabitants of a megalopolis.
As a preventive measure, we recommend undergoing biorevitalization 1 to 3 weeks before leaving for a hot country and a couple of weeks after returning from it, in order to minimize the stress caused to the skin during the vacation.
As for age: the first signs of hyaluronic acid reduction in the skin are usually noticed after the age of 25-27. These are fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes, which even the best beauty cream can’t remove. Then you have the smile lines, which don’t really go away even when you’re not smiling, and then you start to notice that the contour of your face isn’t as defined as it was a year ago, although there’s nothing wrong with that. If you notice these signs, it is time to start a skin biorevitalization procedure. In this case, it is better to periodically help your skin by replenishing the resource of hyaluronic acid, which inevitably decreases with age, than to let the wrinkles set in thoroughly and become deep. When the skin has already acquired significant changes in its quality, it is very difficult and sometimes impossible to correct something drastically without resorting to extreme measures.
The procedure is performed on any area of the skin that requires moisturizing, most often the area around the eyes, face, neck, décolleté and the skin of the hands.
When and what results to expect from the procedure.
The first effects of biorevitalization occur within the first week after the procedure, the subsequent effects occur a little later. A week after the first procedure, there is a noticeable smoothing of wrinkles and a lifting effect achieved through the intense hydration of the skin after the introduction of hyaluronic acid in the areas where its deficiency was the greatest.
The final result is seen after the course is completed: the skin becomes resistant to negative external influences, its fullness and tone gradually improve, the depth and number of wrinkles is reduced, blood circulation in the treatment area improves, tissue oxygenation and, as a consequence, the skin color improves. The positive effect is quite durable – is kept from 3 to 6-7 months (depending on the properties of the specific product used in the procedure). Well, of course the duration of the effect depends primarily on whether you were a course of procedures (usually 3 procedures with an interval between them of 3-4 weeks), or made a single procedure.
You should be very careful when choosing a drug for biorevitalization. Do not use little-known and suspiciously cheap drugs. Hyaluronic acid is not cheap to produce. Excessively low price can be a product with insufficient purification, and this is fraught, at best, with allergic reactions, and no one can predict the severity of this reaction in advance.
