Efficacy / Effect
Treatment of male pattern hair loss (androgenetic alopecia) in adult males (ages 18 to 41)
Dosage
In general, finasteride 1 mg is orally administered once a day and regardless of before or after a meal.
There is no evidence that increasing the dose increases efficacy.
In general, it needs to be taken for more than 3 months to see the therapeutic effect, and it is recommended to take it continuously to maintain the therapeutic effect.
The duration and effectiveness of treatment should be continuously evaluated.
In case of discontinuation, the therapeutic effect will disappear within 12 months.
Precautions for use
Warning
1) This drug must not be administered to pediatric patients or women (see the section Administration for Children and section Administration for Pregnant Women).
2) If pregnant or possibly pregnant women touch broken pieces of the drug, there is a possibility that this medicine may be absorbed through the skin and pose a risk to the male fetus, so women must not
touch broken pieces of this drug. Since the surface of this drug is coated, the active ingredient does not contact the skin when the tablet is handled normally in an unbroken state (refer to the section Administration for Pregnant Women).
